Family - Ursidae
(Bear Family)
The bears in Ursidae are found in the class carnivore because they mostly eat meat. But some bears will have to eat plants and fruits. The bears have a big body with short tails and they have plantigrade feet with sharp long claws on every paw. There are 8 species of bears in the order Ursidae. The American black bear, the panda, the brown bear, the polar bear, the sun bear, the spectacled bear, and the Asiatic black bear. These bears are found in the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere, or in North America, South America Europe and Asia.
