The Amazonian umbrella bird is a bird that has a large tropical species that is found mostly in Central and South America. The umbrella bird has three different species, the Long Wattled umbrella bird, the Amazonian umbrella bird, and the Bare Necked umbrella bird. All three species of the bird live in slightly different areas.
The most interesting feature of the umbrella bird is the large crest on top of his head, when they mate; they fan out their crest so that it nearly covers their whole head then they begin to make rumbling sounds to attract a female. The umbrella bird then retracts their long, curved feathers, making them more discreet most of the time.
