Family – Theridiidae
(Tangle Web Spiders)
The family Theridiidae is home to the one and only tangles web spiders. These spiders, as the name implies, are the spiders that build the most elaborate webs. These spiders are entelegyne araneomorph ecribellate. Which means that the females have a genital plate and that their webs are made of something else other than silk. These spiders build, instead of flat webs, three dimensional webs.
