The Common Green Tree frog has many different names like; White’s Tree frog, Common Tree frog, and Green Tree frog. It can grow up to 10 centimeters in its life time. The Common Tree frog is found in all habitats, from the desert to the coastal swamps, but they aren’t always found in the dense and tropical rainforest. In the dry season they can be found under bark, in tree hollows, in and underneath logs, and under rocks. But they are most commonly found in the tropical top third of Australia.

It’s green back is often decorated with small pale spots, wile the “underpants” are white. And the whole frog can go from bright green to a deep olive brown. There is often a large fold that often hangs over the tympanum in larger individuals.

It’s diet consists of whatever they can catch and swallow. They usually will eat crickets, moths, flies, and almost any type of worm. But they can go on 2½ days without eating, and they have been known to prey upon their own kind if it’s needed.
