The size 0f the Rainbow Boa is usually grows to be 6 feet to 7 feet. This boa is considered medium sized. Also the head of the Rainbow Boa is wider than its neck. The Rainbow Boa is normally a reddish brown color and has large black rings on the back of this snake. Next the tiny ridges act like prisms to refract light and create a rainbow cooled affect.

This boa eats rats, chicks, and small mammals. The predators of this animal are some birds and some humans eat them. They also are widespread throughout much of Southern America. Rainbow Boas also occur in the Amazon Basin, and Costal Guiana. This snake is a great animal, it can live up to be 7 feet long and it lives to be 25 years old.

Also the average size is 5 feet to 6 feet with larger and smaller individual. Another thing about these awesome creatures is they weigh less than 10 pounds. Then if the humidity level is below 50% severe health problems and even death can happen.

Last but not least if this snake doesn’t have enough water or humidity then it will dehydrate quickly.
