The leipoa ocellata is an Australian bird. Its a domestic chicken. The leipoa ocellata coloration is brown, black, grey, white. The leipoa ocellata adaptation is southern of the mainland Australia . The birds characteristics are shy,and only when they feel threatened or feel that they're  in danger . But these birds are very active.

These birds during the autumn the boy will dig a hole so, the girl can lay her eggs in the hole .In the winter they will collect twigs and leaves to make a nest. In  the spring when it rains and the nest is all wet and starts to rot . The male bird will sit on the nest to keep it warm , then the female bird will lay the eggs. You can find a leipoa ocellata in western Australia. There are about 100,000 leipoa ocellata. The population of these birds is growing. It uses a semi-arid, so it reduced  to separate  different   populations .

A leipoa ocellata eats insects, seeds, berries, flowers. the bird competes to get food from rabbits, birds, cows, sheep. What stood out to me was that a leipoa ocellata takes these birds 300 day just to make a nest. That when they feel like they're in danger they  fly to the nearby tree. That they are large dwelling birds.  They can lay about 35 eggs . That their nest are very different from other birds nest .
