Ever heard of a critically endangered animal, and felt that you have to know more about it? Well, the Blue-Billed Curassow is one of those endangered species.

These Blue-Billed Curassows are amongst the most endangered birds in the world. This bird stands at 83 to 93 cm in adult form. They are large, black birds with shiny feathers and fleshy, blue wattle. The male has a white stripe from the back of his legs to the tip of his tail. These birds have deep, booming voicing that they use to signal each other.

Being one of the most endangered species of birds in the world, and having only 600 to 700 mature individuals left, these birds need to be protected. It inhabitants humid forest, such as rainforests. They are most commonly found near Columbia.

Being a game bird, many people like to hunt and eat the Blue-Billed Curassow, making humanas one of its most deadly predators. They eat fruit, seeds, and most invertebrates. It finds food by foraging along the ground and bushes.

Now you can see, the Crax Alberti is an endangered animal that needs to be protected.
