The two toed sloth is intelligent, an extraordinary animal that has many interesting facts about it.

 

Two toed sloth has a unique behavior. When sitting on a tree it looks like a big clump of vegetation.  They have long hair that grows backward.  They have a greenish tint to their hair to camouflage themselves in the tree.  Also they have long toes bounded together and long hooked claws.  Last thing they have a short head.

 

Two toed sloth may manly eat fruits and flowers. Nearly all of there diet is composed of tree leaves and twigs.  The two toed sloth spends most of its time in a tree.  They may travel on ground to get to a new tree or to go to the bathroom.

 

The two toed sloth has many dangerous animals such as jaguars, eagles, and large snakes.  To hide from them they camouflage themselves in the trees.  They have a lot of habitat destruction causing a decrease of them around the world.  There conservation status they have a little bit of contact with people.

 

Some interesting facts are they sleep in trees and they are excellent swimmers.  I have learned some interesting facts about the two toed sloth and how wonderful and unique it is.
