Family - Cercopithecidae
(Old World Monkeys)

Cercopithecoidea is a family that comprises the monkeys of the old world. They are often surrounded by brightly colored skin. They have cheek pouches that are used to store food. Old world monkeys are medium to large in size. They are like baboons. Several Old world monkeys have stubs for thumbs to assist with their arboreal movement. Most Old World monkeys are at least partially omnivorous, but all prefer plant matter. That is what a Cercopithecoidea is.
