When you hear bony fish you may think… okay ribs, a skull, and a spine right? And yes most fishes do contain these bones but also a whole lot more! The Ocean Sunfish has the most bones of all fishes. But is far from the group of largest fish. The largest and with the most bones is the Oarfish. The Oarfish is in the group of the largest fish and has the most bones in this group. It is at the least a total of 11 meters and at the most reported a total of 17 meters.
