Though it has to be admitted that after mankind, snakes, and bees; scorpions are responsible for more human deaths than any other animal, I thought that this is still a small number death, and that parasites kill humans in a far greater number, and do humans in wars and with cars. Scorpions killed 1 696 people per year in Mexico for the 12 years previous to 1963. Other places to watch out for scorpions are India, North Africa and parts of South America.

Of the 1500 or so species of scorpions known to mankind, only about 25 are capable of causing human death, the sting of most scorpions is less painful than that of a bee or wasp to a human. Tityus bahiensis or Brazilian scorpions live in South America: Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. If they are in other places that means they are rare in that habitat. The scorpion is about a medium sized scorpion. It is usually about 5.5 to 6.5 centimeters. They are usually brownish or reddish brown. They also have little small black spots on their legs. They have about eighteen to twenty-three teeth. Tityus bahiensis were the first described for the first genus tityus.

They also usually live or it is said to live in fields or under rocks or even in little small medium burrows. They need to have the humidity around either sixty to eighty percent. The temperature should be around twenty-five to thirty-three degree's but Celcius. Tityus Bahiensis when they grow to adulthood they are very easy to sex. Only because the male scorpions have way more bulbous chelae than the girl or female scorpions do. The scorpion eats lots of different kinds of food. They eat roaches, bugs, crickets, and different kinds of spiders. You would feed the baby scorpions about every other day, and the adults once or twice weekly.

But tityus bahiensis only have the lifespan of two years to three and a half years. Also, they have to worry about their own predators too. So they aren't the only ones that need to be careful. Perty scorpions are very interesting in the way they live and what they eat and which ones are nice and which ones can kill you. They aren't as bad as what people say they so check them out. Just watch out for the Tityus bahiensis!
