Order - Strigiformes
(Owls)
Owls are a very interesting species of birds. They mostly hunt at night; because, most are nocturnal. Very few types of owls are active during the day to capture prey. During the twilight hours, you may see some of the crepuscular owls out hunting. However, the overall general owl hunts at night. One interesting fact about owls is that they can turn their neck and head around almost all the way. In either direction, they can rotate around 270 degrees.
